Big Yellow Friday was a huge success at Polhill Garden Centre. A big Thankyou to everyone who came down in support of the event. We managed with your help to raise £472.22 which goes to the charity Child Liver Disease. More information about the charity can be found here as well as making donations.

Big Yellow Friday couldn't be more simple! Organise or take part in a fundraising event with a yellow theme - large or small - on or around Friday, 5 March 2010.

We are holding our Big Yellow Friday Event for children effected by liver disease in Novell's Restaurant at Polhill Centre from today 2nd of March until the main event on Friday the 5th of March. We have Yellow cupcakes for one pound with donations going to the charity, we also have a raffle with prizes up to 80 pounds. As well as a guess the bananas game for a pound, we look forward to seeing you all instore to support this unique event.

Join us at Polhill Garden Centre this weekend Saturday the 20th of February for exclusive nutritional advice and demos on how to use our full range of royal cannin dog products. Make your way to our pet section in store where we will also have special offers on the day.

 

Polhill Hosts the 2009

Historic Commercial Vehicle Society Evening

Polhill Garden Centre for the first time hosted the annual Historic Commercial Vehicle Society Evening on the 6th July which proved a tremendous success!!

The show featured 400 vintage and classic cars, motorbikes, lorries, buses, steam engines, stationery engines, a raffle, a musical organ and games in the restaurant garden together with a barbeque all washed down with refreshments and local ales specifically brought in for the evening.

Many hundreds of visitors drove to the show in their own classic cars and proudly exhibited their vehicles for all to admire.

 

 

The Garden Centre stayed open all evening and the visitors enjoyed the double whammy of not only visiting the show but also having the opportunity to browse the store which offered fantastic displays of Garden and Leisure products.

Despite having sunshine, thunderstorms, lightening and downpours of rain during the course of the evening, the enthusiasts were not deterred and during the rainy periods took shelter in the restaurant where they were able to enjoy the good food and refreshments.
